Hello Hellwig Products, Your commercial is hard to listen to. The person who picked the back ground music, picked a melody in a register that dominates the voice. As a result your ears compete to block it out in order to listen to the message.

I’m trying to determine if this is necessary or not, I have a 2020 F250 and towing a 5000 pound trailer and don’t feel any body roll. But I am thinking about getting a 9000lb toy hauler so wondering if this would help. Thanks

It's a RAM ProMaster (Fiat Ducato). There's no need to start calling it something else. It has already been rebadged a gazillion times.

I understand that Hellwig wants to sell more of their overpriced sway bars but the reality is that sway in turns is the result of an increase of weight on the outside springs. A spring may be able to support the vehicle load on flat ground or even in a turn without a load but unable to support the same vehicle with a load. The heavier the vehicle the less effective a sway bar addition will be. Vehicles that need a sway bar for control will have ones installed already by the manufacturer at the factory. My pickup was OK with nothing in the bed but with a 3700 lb camper load there was a great deal of sway on sloping ground or in turns. The fix was to add more load capacity with the addition of Super Springs overload leaf springs. No more sway with the added load support.

I have a 2018 Ford F-250 with airbags and I haul a 2021 Adventurer 89RB truck camper. I'm still getting a little sway so can I install front and rear Hellwig sway bars to control that as well as keeping my air bags in?

Too bad the bar doesnt sit higher near the middle of it. I feel like it should be curved up after the bushings so its higher than the pumpkin.

I’ve ordered the Hellwig sway bar for my 2010 ram 3500 dually, can’t wait for it to arrive and install. I have a lance 990 truck camper and sway isn’t bad but watching other videos this will help better. (I did add another leaf spring already (Had one break before I have my truck camper so had to fix and they suggested I add another leaf)

I have a 2015 F150 4x4. Upgrading the front and the rear with new sway bars would be the best way to go. But to save money, would I feel the difference in just replacing the front sway bushings and adding the rear sway bar?

Damn, an here I thought the sway bar was an arm bar for mechanics to maneuver under the car.

Although the swaybar looks beefy, would've been much more helpful, to me at least, if he hooked up a camper or trailer for some feedback.

I think this explanation is very wrong... You do not have opposite movement. In the contrary. The bar holds both sides together, tight. As a result, when one wheel goes up, the other side sitting on the pavement, will push the up wheel down. Will try to level. The way you explain it it implies that by lifting one wheel, the other goes down even deeper. Exactly opposite of what you want the bar to do.

How did he check the 65 ft-lb with a regular wrench ? 🤦‍♂

I have a stock 17 GMC 3500hd Denali diesel dually truck I want to add the rear sway bar to the truck but will the factory sway bar work with the rear bar. Or change the front to. What would the factory front bar do or not do over the hellwig front bar

Can these be installed on a rv trailer?

if you would do one first then the other, which would you recommend? i have a 19 ram promaster 1500 highroof with a full build inside. i already have sumo springs front and rear and am just having a little too much sway still. my build isnt as heavy as most. ive built with the lightest strongest materials i could find and, obviously being conscious of it only having the 1500 suspension which is only 1 leaf spring less than the 2500/3500 from what i can tell.

Perfect timing for this video. I've got a 4th Gen that hauls a Northstar 650SC and have been looking for reviews of aftermarket sway bars specific to cab-over campers. I think this video has made my decision easier! 👍

I breathe wrong in my car and it moves around. You should see it when I have to drive on the highway on a windy day. My car gets blown all over the place. The joys of owning a 98 Toyota Corolla.

Can these be installed on an old 50s MERCURY/Ford vehicles with a 2" width spring and these actually do go ABOVE THE AXEL AND LEAF SPRINGS, CORRECT??
